Boiler level float switches have been used for decades as level switches
in boilers, but nowadays electrodes have replaced them. Moving parts are hard
to check in boilers and deposit on the hinge may seriously disturb the
function. The boiler level float switch function is rather insensitive
to
foam in the boiler.
