Ångström. Should not be confused with A (Ampere). ÅNGSTRÖM -- Unit of wavelength of electromagnetic radiation covering visible light and X-rays. Equal to 1E-10m. This unit is also used for inter-atomic spacings. It has been supersided in SI by nanometre (=10Å) |
