Maybe in swedish......bra sida, då mina senaste stora erfarenheter från ånga har varit från kärnkraftsindustrin, ser jag med nostalgi dina sidor. Vill du ha mer material/diskutera vidare, kan du väl höra av dig.

This is a great site, the wery best site on boilers I have found yet.

   21 November 2001

Hi Lars,
When I got a question about steam boilers, how to maintain viscosity and such, I didn't think twice, kicked my search engine and was directed to your pages. That's how I got in.
I'll never get out I fear.
This is one of the most informative sited concerning the outdated Marine Steam Boiler (and auxiliary systems) I've ever visited.
Everything is there, even two very useful downloads.
Thank you, it must have cost you ages to build this site.
It was my pleasure to spend all afternoon remembering the art of calculating Centistokes and degrees Angler. And psi to bars and back.
Finding my way back from Joules to BTU.
Thank you.

I was surfing the web, looking for information of permissible amounts of Vanadium in Bunker C, when I came upon your site. Very informative, and applicable to my needs. I am also a steam marine engineer. In these days, when most ships are propelled by diesel engines, it is nice to know that there are other steam engineers out there.

   19 November 2001

Very good discription of boilers and different systems. It helped us a lot in our project of boilers.
Thank`s.

Your "Sight" is great & very extremely informative to a novice like me. I have always been interested in how the ships (Naval) I served on were powered but being young, never took the time to learn about it or make friends with the "black gang" who served in those parts of the ships.
Sincerely,
GUNCPTN

Oh, I am a teacher in Power Engineering. The college is Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, located at Edmonton, Alberta.
Have a great day and thank you.

¡Felicitaciones, Lars!

Just surfing, trying to get ideas on a web page for my company.
Great sight.

    15 January 2001

A very interesting site! I was a 3rd Assistant Engineer in steam. I sailed on WW II era T-2 tankers with cross-drum sectional header boilers and on ships built 1952-58 with express boilers. It is good to see a real technical site, this is what the internet should be used for! Thank you!

    13 January 2001

Very nice to see your articles. I'm a boiler engineer.. While surfing the net I got into your site. Happy New Year...I commissioned high-pressure boilers, gas turbines and steam turbines.
